Product updates – July 2025: Automated workflows, granular tracking statuses, and new Carrier integrations

This month, we’re boosting your control over shipping operations. ShippyPro’s new Automation section lets you create custom workflows to automate your fulfillment end to end. We’ve added more granular tracking statuses for clearer insights and now allow multi-merge of orders with full visibility of merged order IDs. Plus, you can now ship with InPost Global and Poste GO Fresh to expand your delivery options.
Build workflows to automate fulfillment and save time
ShippyPro’s new Automation section empowers you to build customized workflows that handle your fulfillment operations automatically. Using a wide range of conditions and actions, you can tailor each workflow to your specific business needs—from formatting addresses to avoid errors, to routing orders, creating and printing labels, assigning parcels, sending notifications, and more. This means you save hours of manual work every day, minimize errors, and scale your operations effortlessly.
Visit the new Automation section to create your first workflow. It’s simple, powerful, and flexible. Is there anything missing or you'd like to see added? Click the Feedback button directly in the platform—we’re eager to improve it together with you.
Full visibility on merged order IDs
ShippyPro now displays the order IDs of all orders included when you merge orders, directly in the notes of the merged order. This gives you full visibility and traceability over which customer orders were combined into a single shipment, helping you track customer requests, handle refunds accurately, and manage inventory without manual cross-checking. It ensures your operations remain transparent while keeping your workflow organized during bulk shipments.
Check the Notes section of the merged order in your Orders Table to view the transaction IDs of all orders included in the merge.
Merge orders multiple times to optimize your shipments and reduce costs
Sometimes you realize too late that orders should ship together. Previously, merging was a one-time action in ShippyPro, limiting flexibility if plans changed. Now, you can merge orders even if they’ve already been merged before. This means you can combine orders when plans change, optimizing your shipments, saving on shipping costs, and reducing the chance of mistakes. Simply go to your Orders table, select the orders to merge, and proceed as usual—no restrictions.
View extended tracking statuses in Optimizer, GetTracking, and webhooks for clearer shipment insights
We’ve expanded ShippyPro tracking to display extended shipment statuses directly in Optimizer, GetTracking, and your tracking webhook body. Previously, tracking updates were mapped with six generic statuses, making it hard to understand the exact reason a shipment was in exception or delayed. Now, you can see detailed, granular statuses allowing you to act faster, improve customer communication, and enhance your support workflows. To leverage this, simply continue using your existing API calls or webhooks; the extended status will automatically appear in your payload and in the Exceptions board in Optimizer.
New services and Carriers connection
InPost Global now available on ShippyPro
ShippyPro now integrates with InPost Global, giving you more flexibility in your shipping operations. Once connected, you can generate labels and manage your shipments using InPost’s reliable network, all from your ShippyPro dashboard. This integration helps you simplify your workflow while expanding your delivery options.
